Niko is a workforce mobility and international education specialist with over 25 years’ leadership experience across transnational education, global partnerships, and healthcare recruitment. He holds a Master’s in Education Leadership and a DELTA from the University of Cambridge. He is a Certified Design Thinking Facilitator.
He has led international expansion for major UK education groups, securing over 50 global partnerships and delivering government-approved projects, including with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Olympic Committee.
Niko has a proven track record in designing commercially viable, compliance-led mobility pathways, particularly in regulated sectors. He founded Stylus Consulting Ltd, where he developed ethical international healthcare recruitment programmes in partnership with Skills for Care, NHS Trusts, and major care providers, culminating in a formal collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (India) and Care England.
As Managing Director of EuroHire, Niko designs ethical, scalable pathways for healthcare professionals across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America, integrating training, compliance, and international recruitment.

Through these leadership roles, Mekonnen advances workforce opportunities, strengthens healthcare delivery, and promotes person-centered community services. He also brings extensive experience supporting individuals and businesses through accounting, tax planning, and strategic advisory services.
